How can cleaners check into locations where they are not assigned to a shift?
You can give your cleaners access to the "Locations" menu item in the mobile app. Opening that screen will give your cleaners a list of locations that they have access to even without being assigned a specific shift. By tapping on a location, they will see the location details and a green Check In button that they can use to record their time.
How to do this
- First you'll need to add the "Locations (Mobile Only)" module to your employees' user profiles under Admin > Manage Users.
- Next, go into Admin > Manage Locations and add them to at least one location or to a parent location if you haven't done so already. See the related article "How should I set up my locations?"
