How do I view past inspections on mobile?
Find completed inspections from the past 30 days, review scores and details, and locate drafts or media still uploading in the Clean Smarts mobile app.
Use the Inspections screen to review recently completed inspections and, if you perform inspections, return to drafts or check media upload progress.
Applies to: Users whose role includes Inspections (View), Inspections (Reports), or Inspections (Create). The tabs you see depend on your modules.
Before You Start
- The mobile app loads completed inspections from the past 30 days. It does not have a date-range picker for older history.
- Users with view access see the Completed tab. The Scheduled tab, drafts, and the location Inspection tab appear only when the role has both Inspections (Create) and Inspections (Reports).
- Completed inspections are loaded from Clean Smarts when you open the screen, so connect to the internet before reviewing them.
View a Completed Inspection
- Tap MORE at the bottom of the app.
- Tap Inspections.
- Tap Completed. If you only have view access, this is the only tab and is already open.
- Find the location you need. The list shows the completion date, location, score out of the available total, and percentage.
- Tap the inspection to open its read-only details.
The newest completed inspections appear first. Use search to filter by location name, or use the sort control to change the location or date order.
You can also tap Recent inspections on HOME. Its number counts inspections completed during the past three days, but tapping it opens the same 30-day Completed list.
Review the Score and Work
The inspection details show:
- Total score: at the top of the screen
- Each checklist item and its score
- Notes and attached photos when you expand an item
- View signature when the submitted inspection includes a signature
A score displayed as -- % in the list, or -- beside Total score:, means the inspection has no valid available score total. It is not a hidden score.
The mobile app does not show inspection trends, let you choose an older date range, or provide a full location report. Use the web portal for history older than 30 days and company- or location-level reporting.
Find Drafts and Uploading Media
If you have the modules needed to perform inspections:
- Open Scheduled and look under Draft for inspections that were started but not submitted. Tap a draft to continue it.
- Do not tap the delete icon unless you intend to discard the draft. Delete Draft cannot be undone.
- Open Completed and look under Uploading media for a submitted inspection whose photos are still sending. The inspection itself is complete, but its media may not be available everywhere yet.
- If a photo shows Retry upload, connect to a reliable network and tap it to try again.
The Inspection tab inside a location is for starting or resuming inspection work. It may show when an area was inspected recently, but it is not a browsable history of completed inspections.
If an Inspection Is Missing
- There is no Inspections option under MORE. Ask an administrator to check your inspection modules. After a module change, sign out and back in so the app reloads your access.
- You see Completed but not Scheduled or Draft. Your role can view inspections but does not have both Inspections (Create) and Inspections (Reports).
- The screen says No Inspections. There may be no completed inspections available to your role from the past 30 days. Check the web portal for older records.
- A new inspection is under Draft. It has not been submitted yet. Open the draft and submit it when it is ready.
- A submitted inspection is under Uploading media. Wait for the upload to finish before checking its photos elsewhere.
- Recent changes are not showing. Return to MORE, tap Sync, and reopen Inspections while online.
