How do I set up an employee's pay rate and view the pay rate history?

Clean Smarts keeps a running history of every pay rate change for each employee, making it easy to track raises and adjustments over time.

View and update pay rate history

  1. Option 1: Click your profile in the bottom-left corner > Manage Users and select the employee profile you want.

    Option 2: Use the search bar (or press Ctrl+K) and type Manage Users or the employee's name to jump directly to their profile.

  2. Select Time and Pay tab from the left-hand menu, this is where all current and historical pay rates are stored. 

You can click the Add a new pay rate button, enter the new rate and the date it takes effect, then save it. The new entry will appear in the pay rate history automatically, alongside any previous rates, so you always have a clear record of every change.
