How do I create an inspection checklist?
In Clean Smarts, the same checklist can be used both as a task list for cleaners and as a quality audit tool for supervisors. You control which tasks are visible to each by using display settings, so there's no need to create separate checklists for each purpose.
Setting task visibility
When creating or editing a checklist, each task has a visibility setting that determines who can see it:
- Cleaner only: the task appears in the checklist tab on the mobile app for cleaners to check off as they work.
- Inspection only: the task appears in the inspection tab on the mobile app for supervisors conducting a quality audit.
- Both: the task appears in both views.
If you are creating a checklist exclusively for inspections, set all tasks to Inspection only so they don't appear in the cleaner's checklist view.
Assigning a scoring template
Each task can have its own scoring template to define how it is evaluated during an inspection. Clean Smarts includes a default smiley face scoring template, but you can create custom ones (e.g., pass/fail). To assign a scoring template to a task, go to the Requirements/Scoring tab when editing the task and select the template you want to use.
