How do I assign users to a shift?

You can assign employees to a shift in two ways: from the location's shift settings, or directly from the employee's profile.

Assign from the shift

  1. Navigate to the location using the bottom-left menu > Manage Locations, or Ctrl+K to search for it directly.

  2. Go to the Shifts and Inspections tab and click on the shift you want to update.

  3. Scroll to the Assignments and Notifications section.

  4. Select the employee(s) you want to add from the list or by typing their name.

  5. Click Update Shift to save.

Assign from the employee's profile

  1. Go to Manage Users from the bottom-left menu, or use Ctrl+K to search for the employee by name and go directly to their profile.

  2. In the employee's profile, go to Location Access.

  3. You'll see a list of all locations in the system. Locations with a checkbox enabled indicate the employee already has access.

  4. Click the arrow next to a location and this will expand the list of shifts for that location.

  5. Click the Assign button for the shift you want to add the employee to.
