How do I add payroll system data to my time reporting?

Clean Smarts allows you to add payroll system identifiers to users and locations to help you bridge data between systems. This is especially helpful if you wish to export time sheet data from Clean Smarts and import it into a payroll system.

Set your payroll integration to "Custom"

  1. Go to Admin > Company Settings
  2. Scroll down to "Payroll Integrations" and select "Custom" from the drop-down options:

  3. Click the "Submit Changes" button:


Add payroll system user IDs

  1. Go to Admin > Manage Users
  2. Click the pencil icon next to the user whose payroll ID you need to add or modify.
  3. Enter the ID under Integrations > Payroll System ID.

  4. Click "Save."

Add payroll system job or location IDs

  1. Go to Admin > Manage Locations
  2. Click the pencil icon next to the location where you need to add or modify the payroll system ID.
  3. Enter the ID under Integrations > Payroll System ID.

  4. Click "Save and Close."

Export time sheet reports to see the payroll system information

  • Under Time Tracking > Approve Hours, click "Excel" to see the user and location payroll system IDs in the report

  • Under Time Tracking > View Time Detail, click "Export to Excel" to see the user and location payroll system IDs in the report.
