Why can't I see the check in button on the app?


You have logged into the mobile app and tapped the "Check-in" menu to bring up your schedule. You tap a shift to open the shift details. At the bottom of the screen where a green Check-in button should be, you don't see anything.


This is commonly caused by mistakenly flagging the user as a customer. Customers don't report time in the app, so the green check-in button is hidden from them. Your user profile needs to have the customer flag removed. This can only be done by an administrator.

  1. As an administrator, go into the Admin > Manage Users screen.
  2. Click the pencil icon for the user whose customer status you want to change.
  3. Find the checkbox labeled "Click here if this user is a customer" and uncheck the box.
  4. The user will need to log out and log back into the mobile app to see the change take effect.
