Why can't I see the check in button on the app?
Problem
You have logged into the mobile app and tapped the "Check-in" menu to bring up your schedule. You tap a shift to open the shift details. At the bottom of the screen where a green Check-in button should be, you don't see anything.
Solution
This is commonly caused by mistakenly flagging the user as a customer. Customers don't report time in the app, so the green check-in button is hidden from them. Your user profile needs to have the customer flag removed. This can only be done by an administrator.
- As an administrator, go into the Admin > Manage Users screen.
- Click the pencil icon for the user whose customer status you want to change.
- Find the checkbox labeled "Click here if this user is a customer" and uncheck the box.
- The user will need to log out and log back into the mobile app to see the change take effect.
