How is the mobile app home screen changing?

We've received lots of feedback about the home screen of the mobile app since its release over a year ago. We are pleased to reveal how we're making it easier to use and more relevant. This change is scheduled for release in the first week of August 2024 with version 2.4.4.

The first thing you'll notice is that it is now possible to clock into your shift right from the home screen. This addresses the primary concern that cleaners faced when clocking in — how can they get to their work in the fewest motions possible? Your next shift is displayed, but you also have the option to select a different shift. And of course, you can always view your schedule or locations in more detail by tapping "My Jobs"

The other important feedback we received is that users wanted common actions to be accessible, such as creating issues and supply requests, which appear as tappable tiles. This is especially true of customers using the app. Depending on your modules, you'll see a number of other tiles that give you at-a-glance information related to your worked hours for the week or open issues. We plan on creating more tiles in the future.
