How do I view inspection scores for my location?
Open completed inspections for your location and review the score, notes, and photos in the Clean Smarts web portal or mobile app.
Use Inspections to see quality scores after your cleaning company inspects your building. You can open a completed inspection, read the total score, and review notes and photos.
Applies to: Customer users whose cleaning company has given them Inspections (View) and access to the location. You can view completed inspections. You cannot create or schedule them.
Before You Start
- Sign in on the web at app.cleansmarts.com or in the Clean Smarts mobile app.
- You only see inspections for locations assigned to you.
- The mobile app shows completed inspections from the past 30 days. Use the web portal for older history.
- Stay on the Completed tab. If you see Overdue on the web, that list is for the cleaning company's schedule, not your score history.
View Inspection Scores on the Web
- Open Quality in the left-hand menu.
- Select Inspections.
- Stay on Completed.
- Choose a date range. The page often opens on Last 7 days, so expand it if the inspection is older.
- Choose your location, or select All Locations if you have more than one.
- Use search if you need to find a location by name.
- Select the inspection row, or open the row menu and choose View Details.
The list shows the inspection ID, location, date inspected and who completed it, plus the score and percentage. Newest completed inspections appear first.
To save a copy, open the inspection and use the share button, then Print.
View Inspection Scores on the Mobile App
- Tap MORE at the bottom of the app.
- Tap Inspections.
- Open Completed. If you only have view access, this is the only tab and is already open.
- Find your location. The list shows the completion date, location, score out of the available total, and percentage.
- Tap the inspection to open its read-only details.
The newest completed inspections appear first. Use search to filter by location name, or use the sort control to change the location or date order.
You can also tap Recent inspections on HOME. The number counts inspections completed during the past three days. Tapping it opens the same 30-day Completed list.
Connect to the internet before you open Inspections. The app loads completed inspections from Clean Smarts when you open the screen.
Read the Score, Notes, and Photos
On the web, Inspection Details opens with a Summary that shows:
- Total Score (points earned out of points possible)
- Percentage
- When the inspection was Completed
- Location Information, including a Sub-location when the inspection was for an area inside the building
Scroll to All Inspection Entries to see each checklist section and item, including notes and photos. Low-scoring items may also appear under Exceptions. Items that created a follow-up issue appear under Action Items.
On the mobile app, the details show:
- Total score: at the top of the screen
- Each checklist item and its score
- Notes and attached photos when you expand an item
- View signature when the submitted inspection includes a signature
The percentage is points earned divided by points possible. Items marked N/A do not count. A score shown as -- % on the list, -- beside Total score:, or - % on the web means the inspection has no valid available total. It is not a hidden score.
This page is the inspection report from your cleaning company. It is different from public Ratings left through a QR code.
If You Don't See an Inspection
- There is no Inspections option. Ask your cleaning company to turn on Inspections (View) and confirm you have access to the location. After they change your access, sign out and sign back in.
- The web list looks empty. Widen the date range. The page may be showing only Last 7 days.
- The mobile app says No Inspections. There may be no completed inspections for your locations in the past 30 days. Check the web portal for older records.
- You only see some of your buildings. You only see locations assigned to you. Ask your cleaning company to add the missing location.
- Photos are missing on a brand-new inspection. The inspection can be complete before its photos finish uploading. Wait a few minutes, then open it again. On the phone, go to MORE, tap Sync, and reopen Inspections while online.
- You want to schedule or start an inspection. Customer access is view-only. Ask your cleaning company if you need a new inspection completed.
