How do I use the schedule calendar?
The schedule calendar gives you a visual overview of all your shifts, inspections, and work orders across your locations and employees.
Getting to the calendar
Go to Scheduling in the left-hand menu and select Calendar View.
Filtering the calendar
At the top of the calendar you have a few dropdown filters:
- Location: Select a specific location or view all locations at once. If you have a location hierarchy set up, you can filter by any tier of it.
- Users: Select individual employees or all employees at once to see their schedules.
- Colors: By different users, events or statuses.
- Service type: Filter by Shifts (recurring jobs), Inspections (scheduled recurring inspections), or Work Orders (one-off jobs). You can view one type at a time or combine them all.
Changing the calendar view
You can view the calendar in several ways depending on your preference:
- By user, weekly (most popular): see each employee and their week at a glance
- By user, daily: a day-by-day breakdown per employee
- Monthly view
- List view by date
Making changes
The calendar works similarly to Google Calendar. To reassign a shift, simply drag and drop it to another employee's row. The system will ask whether you want to make the change for that day only or permanently going forward.
Adding events
Click the Add Event button to add a shift, inspection, or work order directly from the calendar.
