  1. Option 1: Click your profile in the bottom left corner, and go to Manage Locations

Option 2: Use the search bar (or press Ctrl+K) and type the location name.

  2. Go to the Shifts and Inspections tab and click on the shift you want to change to flat fee payment.

  3. Go to Assignments and Notifications.

  4. Click on Adjustments.

  5. Click the +Add button.

  6. From the Type dropdown, select Set Amount of Time Recorded Regardless of Time Worked.

How flat fee works

The system calculates flat fee by multiplying: Adjustment hours × Pay rate = Flat fee amount

*The adjustment hours automatically match your shift length.

Example 1: $60 flat fee for a 3-hour shift

  • Shift: 6 to 9 PM

  • Adjustment: 3 hours (set based on shift length)

  • Pay rate: $20/hour

  • Calculation: 3 hours × $20 = $60 flat fee

Example 2: $60 flat fee for a 1-hour shift

  • Shift: 6 to 7 PM

  • Adjustment: 1 hour (set based on shift length)

  • Pay rate: $60/hour

  • Calculation: 1 hour × $60 = $60 flat fee

Setting the pay rate

  1. Go to the Budget section of the shift.

  2. Enter the hourly rate that achieves your desired flat fee when multiplied by the shift length.

  3. Enable the Pay users the budgeted labor rate toggle to override the employee's default profile rate.

  4. Click Update Shift in the bottom right corner.
