How do I change the language in the mobile app?

Change your profile language when you want Clean Smarts menus, buttons, and app messages to appear in another language.

Applies to: Any signed-in Clean Smarts mobile user. You do not need an administrator role or a specific module.

Connect your phone to the internet. The app must save the change to your profile.
If the app is already using an unfamiliar language, the labels below will appear in that language. Use the icons and screen positions to find them.

Tap MORE in the bottom navigation. If you cannot read the label, tap the far-right tab with the three-dot icon.
Tap My Profile, the first option on the MORE screen.
Find the Language: row.
Tap the current language name, then select the language you want from the list.
Tap Save changes at the bottom of the screen.
Wait for the confirmation message. The app returns to MORE, and app labels begin using the language you selected.

The setting is saved to your Clean Smarts user profile, so the app uses it again the next time you sign in.

It changes Clean Smarts-provided menus, buttons, instructions, and messages.
It does not change your phone's system language.
It does not translate names, notes, chat messages, custom fields, or other content entered by your company or coworkers.
The available choices come from the mobile app. They are not limited by your role, permissions, or company modules.

If the language you need is not in the list, update the app and check again. Sync does not add language choices.

Save changes is unavailable. The button becomes available only after you choose a different language or edit another profile field.
You see “Something went wrong.” Check the Connection status on My Profile. Reconnect to the internet, select the language again if needed, and tap Save changes.
You leave without saving. If the app asks whether to exit without saving, return to My Profile and tap Save changes. Choosing to exit discards your selection.
Some labels still use the previous language after a successful save. Leave and reopen the screen. If needed, close and reopen the app. You do not need to run Sync for the language change.
Only certain words remain unchanged. Content entered by people is shown as written and is not automatically translated.
